This is the privacy policy for the personal AI assistant SMS service operated by Jimmy Schaffer (the "operator"). The service consists of three persona-specific bot agents — Evelyn, Gandalf, and Merlin — running on a personal Mac Studio and communicating via SMS with a small, manually-maintained allowlist of pre-approved personal contacts.
A personal-scale conversational messaging service. There is no marketing, no promotional content, no public sign-up, and no commercial use. Recipients are personal contacts who have explicitly agreed in advance to message these AI bots.
Conversation history is retained on the operator's local Mac Studio for service operation, quality review, and personal record-keeping.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer recipient data to any third party for marketing or advertising. Conversation content stays private to the operator and the recipient.
No other third parties receive recipient data.
Recipients are added to the allowlist only after explicit prior agreement (verbal, in-person, or via prior text/email). The system automatically rejects and ignores all messages from non-allowlisted phone numbers — no engagement of any kind occurs with unsolicited messages.
The operator will remove the contact from the allowlist promptly upon receipt of any opt-out signal.
Conversation logs are retained on the operator's personal Mac Studio for as long as the service operates. Recipients can request deletion of their conversation history at any time.
